The Teno-Rasca Marine Strip is a protected marine area located off the west coast of Tenerife and forms part of the Natura 2000 network—Europe’s system of natural areas recognized for their exceptional ecological importance.
Covering nearly 70,000 hectares and extending across five coastal municipalities, this Special Conservation Area (designated in 2011) was created to protect vulnerable marine habitats and species while ensuring that human activities are carried out in harmony with the natural environment. Carefully managed protection measures help preserve the area’s biodiversity for future generations.
As a scuba diving center operating within this unique marine ecosystem, marine conservation is central to everything we do. Our dives are not only about exploration and skill development, but also about fostering respect for the ocean. We actively promote responsible diving practices, environmental awareness, and the protection of marine life, ensuring that our presence supports—rather than impacts—the fragile underwater world. By diving responsibly, we help safeguard these waters so they remain healthy, vibrant, and accessible for generations of divers to come.
